Hosting Community Gatherings at Our Cafés

Our cafés are working businesses, but they are also neighborhood spaces.

Across our locations, we regularly partner with community groups, organizers, and local leaders who want to bring people together in accessible, familiar settings. When done thoughtfully, gatherings in cafés can feel more human, more inclusive, and less intimidating than traditional venues.

Because we opera

te multiple locations across the Denver metro area, hosting events with us also creates an opportunity to reach different communities in different neighborhoods, without having to reinvent the event each time.

What Works Well in Our Spaces

We’re a good fit for:

  • Meet-and-greets and listening sessions

  • Fundraisers and awareness events

  • Cultural and community conversations

  • Small panels, readings, and informal talks

Our spaces work best for gatherings that are:

  • Welcoming and conversational

  • Designed to coexist with regular café service

  • Focused on connection rather than spectacle

A Note on Multi-Location Hosting

For campaigns, nonprofits, and advocacy groups, hosting a series of small gatherings across multiple neighborhoods can be more effective than one large event.

Each location serves a different mix of regulars, foot traffic, and local energy. Hosting across locations allows organizers to meet people where they already are and build familiarity over time.

We’re happy to explore multi-stop formats when it makes sense.

How We Approach Political and Issue-Based Events

We believe civic engagement belongs in everyday spaces.

We’re open to hosting meet-and-greets and community conversations with candidates and organizations whose work aligns with respectful dialogue and community participation. Events must be non-disruptive, clearly communicated in advance, and focused on listening and connection.

All events are reviewed to ensure they fit within our operating model and values.

What to Expect When Partnering With Us

We’ll ask about:

  • Purpose of the gathering

  • Expected attendance

  • Timing and duration

  • Any fundraising or materials involved

From there, we’ll work with you to identify the right location(s) and format.
