3. Community Support Rate (Partnership Acknowledgment)

At The Edit by Kalika, we use a Community Support Rate model instead of fixed rent. Each partner contributes in the way that feels fair and sustainable for them. If you’re just starting and can’t contribute financially yet, that’s okay. We exist to support you!

If you're further along in your journey, we invite you to contribute what you can to help sustain this shared space. Your support helps offset real costs like electricity, Wi-Fi, water, and the ongoing effort it takes to curate partners, promote events, and nurture a welcoming, creative environment for everyone.

By applying, you acknowledge this is a long-term partnership model based on trust and shared success. You are responsible for your own setup, staffing, and payment processing. Happy Lemon provides the café environment, power, and Wi-Fi as available. These resources are offered as part of our community partnership and should be treated with care and respect. Cross promotion is encouraged.

4. Marketing & Success

Each partner is responsible for actively marketing their activation through social media, email, and word of mouth. The Edit and Happy Lemon may share your posts to help amplify your reach, but the main promotion is your responsibility.

The Edit is a curated program and not all applications will be approved immediately. If your concept isn’t selected this round, we’ll keep your details on file for future showcases.
