To participate in The Edit by Kalika, Artist must select YES to all of the following in the Application:

• I can provide my own display materials & signage.

• I can handle my own payment processing.

• I will promote my activation through my own channels.

• I will treat the space with care and respect.

• I acknowledge that I am responsible for collecting and remitting all sales taxes.

Artists who do not meet all of these conditions are ineligible.

Your activation will take place at one of the following Happy Lemon Colorado locations:

• Greenwood Village

• Centennial

• Westminster

• Edgewater

Artist agrees to:

• Arrive on time for setup and depart on time for breakdown

• Provide and manage all display materials

• Keep displays safe, stable, and compliant with ADA and fire regulations

• Prevent any damage to furniture, walls, floors, or equipment

• Restore the area to its original condition after activation

The Edit and Host Café do not provide staffing, point-of-sale systems, display furniture, storage, or transportation of items.

Artist is fully responsible for all financial aspects of their activation, including:

• Handling all customer payments

• Charging correct prices

• Managing refunds or customer disputes

• Collecting and remitting applicable state and local sales taxes

The Edit and the Host Café do not process payments on behalf of Artist.

Artist retains full ownership of their inventory and equipment.

The Edit and the Host Café:

• Do not insure Artist’s merchandise

• Are not responsible for theft, loss, or damage

• Do not store Artist property before or after the activation

• May allow overnight display only if approved in the Application

Artist is responsible for monitoring their own area at all times.

Artist participates at their own risk and agrees that The Edit by Kalika and the Host Café are not liable for:

• Loss, theft, or damage to inventory

• Damage to Artist’s equipment or personal items

• Injury to Artist, Artist’s team, or customers arising from Artist’s products or display

• Accidents, hazards, or unsafe conditions created by Artist

If Artist does not maintain liability insurance, Artist knowingly assumes all associated risks.

Artist agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Edit by Kalika, Kalika Ventures LLC, and the Host Café from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Artist’s products

• Artist’s display equipment

• Artist’s conduct or negligence

• Customer interactions

This indemnification survives the activation.

Artist agrees to:

• Be respectful to staff, customers, and fellow creators

• Follow all instructions from The Edit team

• Maintain a clean activation area

• Represent their brand professionally

• Align with The Edit’s community-oriented mission

Violation of conduct expectations may result in removal.

Either party may cancel participation:

• Pop-ups: 48 hours notice required

• Overnight/extended placements: 7 days notice required

The Edit may remove Artist immediately for safety concerns, damage, non-compliance, or inappropriate conduct.

By submitting the Application and checking “I Agree,” Artist confirms:

• They read and understand these Terms

• They voluntarily accept all responsibilities and risks

• The checkbox serves as their legal electronic signature under the ESIGN Act and UETA

• These Terms + the Application constitute the entire Participation Agreement

If Artist does not agree to these Terms, they may not participate in The Edit by Kalika.
